Show us your life...kids rooms!!

One of my favorite blogs to keep up with weekly is Kelly's Korner.  She is such a wonderful Christian woman that writes about her life, including her adorable little girl, Harper.  Every Friday, she has been doing a "Show us where you live" post that has included; kitchens, living rooms, offices, etc.  I haven't had time to post each week, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on this weeks post about, nurseries/kids rooms.  These are old pictures, but not much has changed in it!!

View when you walk into her room
I love her curtains!!
Close up of her name that my friend Tracy painted...one of my favorite things!!
Her hair bow holder...there is A LOT more on there now :)
Changing table/dresser that my husband built...so thankful to have a handy husband!!
Another view
This was in my room when I was a little girl...there is a lot of little nik naks in it now.
Baby clothes are gone :( Toddler clothes have replaced :)

Beautiful armoire that my husband also built for our little girl!!

One of my favorite signs in her room.

So that is a little glimpse of our Briley's room.  I love how girly it is because it goes with her personality so well.  We are going to move the rocking chair out very soon and put a mini rocker that Daniel is building for all her baby dolls.

We also got a new piece of furniture in the mail this week that Uncle Andrew sent all the way from Boston...well really from Pottery Barn but Uncle Andrew ordered it just for his favorite niece :)  It isn't in her room but I had to share...it looks great in our living room and she LOVES it.  She looks like such a big girl sitting in it.
Hope everyone has a blessed weekend!!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Monday was a holiday for me at school (gotta love good 'ol Christopher Columbus) so we decided to take advantage of Daniel and I both being home and go to the pumpkin patch with Briley.  We recruited our favorite Auntie to come and take pictures with her awesome camera of our sweet girl.  After seeing how amazing the pictures turned out it only confirmed our decision that we HAVE to get a camera like this for Christmas.  Having a Mac also gives us the opportunity to do some fun photo editing and I can't tell you how much I am in LOVE with these pictures!!

Enjoying a ride down the VERY fast slide :)

She stuck her head right through like she knew exactly what to do!!

Can't even get over her sweet face...

Daniel loved that she had so much fun in this old truck!!

Loved this pumpkin patch...so many great photo ops!!

Decisions, decisions!!

Bringing out her inner cowgirl on the tractor!!

This one is my size for sure!!

Such a little ham!!

Such a wonderful day with lots of memories...definitely a trip we will make for many years to come.  I hope everyone has a blessed Friday!!

Fall Fun!!

The temperature today is not supposed to get above 70 and I can't tell you how happy that makes me!!  Don't get me wrong I LOVE summer (I'm a teacher) but there is something about that first cool day after many long hot days of summer that gets me really excited about the holiday season approaching.  I already have our fall wreath on the door, pumpkins spread throughout the living room, and our fall flower garland on our mantle, so it has seemed like fall for a while in our house :)  Christmas is by far my favorite decorating holiday...but fall is definitely a close second!!  I'm still working on collecting fall decor but here is a little glimpse of the fall in our home...

With fall of course come Halloween and I already ordered Briley's Halloween costume and it should be here any day now.  Here is a peek at her costume and her cute Halloween treat bag that I ordered as well!!

Daniel and I decided we wanted her to be something traditional this year because we know every year after this she will most likely want to be a princess, fairy, or ballerina.  Which is fine with us, but we are excited about having one more year to pick for her :)  I'm hoping it's a little chilly on Halloween so I can put black tights with it, I can't wait to see it on her!!

Here is a cute picture of our little fall beauty...it's hard to get a smile out of her with her paci always glued to her mouth!!  Still cute though :)

Have a blessed week!!
