Christmas Eve

We had a perfect Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  I was so excited for this Christmas...It was so much fun sharing the magic of Christmas with our two sweet girls.  Briley is at such a fun age and really gets it.  I love the holidays!!

We started Christmas Eve off with our Children's program at church.
Here is our little ham singing during the preschool choir part.
I love working for our church and I had a blast putting this program together...but I was glad for Candlelight service to start because it meant the children's program was over ;)  It was a great program!!  All the kids did so good even after missing a rehearsal because of the ice.

My sweet Delaney Hope
This was the best picture I got of the 3 of us girls.  Briley was over pictures if you can't tell!!
Our church's candlelight service was packed and absolutely beautiful this year!!

After church we headed to my Grandaddy and Granny Nell's.  My Mom had a BIG surprise coming her way at their house!!
A sweet baby pug named Lucy!!  She has been wanting one for a LONG time and my Dad finally made it happen.  Lucy and Briley are already best friends!!
Love this picture of my Mom and her girls!!

After Grandaddy and Granny Nell's we came home, put on our Christmas PJ's, and set out cookies and milk for Santa.

And he did NOT disappoint!
Stay tuned for our Christmas Day post!!

Melissa

Picture Post

Apparently I can't find the time to blog lately :(
But I want to make sure and at least get some pictures up!!

Life is wonderful, busy, and blessed...

Thanking God everyday for this pregnancy and how much He is covering me with His love.
19 weeks

Meet Delaney Hope :)
Delaney is after Hadley and Tammie's middle name, D'Layne and Hope is because she is the hope and healing God is giving our family this year!!
We celebrated my sweet Hadley's 2nd birthday.  I will have another post on that soon but here are a few of my favorite pics from her balloon release.

The day before Hadley's birthday we took Briley to Great Wolf Lodge to have some family time...she had a BLAST!!!

Briley got to see the musical from her favorite book...PINKALICIOUS!!!

We celebrated my amazing husband's 30th birthday with family and friends

This week we started our Easter festivities with an Egg Hunt at Briley's preschool...

This weekend we have an Easter Family Day on Saturday at church and then of course church on Sunday and visiting with family to celebrate that HE LIVES!!

I will be 24 weeks on Saturday which is considered "viability".  God's timing with this pregnancy is beautiful and perfect...so thankful for new beginnings this Easter season.

Love,
Melissa

Still here!!

WOW!!  Over a month since I have last blogged.  As we all know life happens and sadly I haven't set aside time to blog.  But that is over!!  I miss blogging so much and I know I need it :)

The Bufe's are doing very well!!
In the past month we have....

-Got through the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!!
-Still haven't put our living room back together after having it painted...we have nothing on our walls.  Hopefully this month I can tackle that!!
-Been sick...thank goodness nothing too bad.  Just low grade fevers and colds.
-Been to the doctor SEVERAL times to see our sweet baby :)
-Briley had a pancakes and pj's day at preschool
-Celebrated Nonnie's 2nd year in Heaven
-I turned 30!!
-My sweet husband and wonderful Mom threw me a 30th birthday with family and friends
-Went to a children's ministry conference
-Briley and Daniel had a Daddy/Daughter date to the Ft. Worth Stock Show
-Went to Daniel's Fireman Banquet

And last but not least found out the SEX of our baby :)

It's a............

GIRL!!!!!

We are so excited to welcome another sweet baby girl into our family.  Daniel and I have decided that all we make is girls :)  Briley is beside herself excited with having a baby sister to love and share all her toys with.  She promised she would!!  ;)

I think we are set on name but just figuring out spelling.  I will share that soon.

We were lucky to found out fairly early what this baby was because I am going to the doctor so often.  I'm 16 weeks 2 days as of today but thankfully every time we go in I'm measuring a couple days ahead of that.  She is a growing girl!!

The next two months are very critical for our sweet girl.  Please pray that she stays put and it's God's plan for us to bring a healthy full term baby home in July.  You can also pray for my anxiety.  I'm working on it, praying through it, and leaning on friends for support, but it's still tough.

Hope all my blog friends are doing well!!

I promise it won't be another month until you hear from me!!

Happy Tuesday,

~Melissa

Thanksgiving Feast

On Wednesday Daniel and I attended Briley's Thanksgiving Feast at her preschool.  She was SO excited to see us.  Her face was beaming when we walked in and it was the best feeling!!
Daniel and I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to have these moments with our sweet 1st born.  We are so thankful to God for Briley Ann!!

Halloween 2012

We had a fun and PACKED Halloween day!!
We started the morning off with getting ready for preschool and Briley's costume parade.  They were able to wear their costumes for the parade and Briley was so excited.
We were able to come to the parade and she was SO excited to see us.  I was a little worried how she would do when we left but she walked right back into her classroom.
She was done taking pictures by Halloween night!!  She was ready for trick or treating!!
She asked her Auntie to be Tinkerbell awhile back and of course her Auntie did not disappoint!!
Cousin Logan came to see us!!
Briley's favorite part was passing out candy...unless you were scary, then she wanted nothing to do with you!!
We were glad Papa and Auntie came to celebrate and we missed Gigi, Pa, and Mega.  Gigi was sick :(
Love my sweet family!!

Experiencing a holiday through a child's eyes is SO fun!!  Can't wait for Christmas this year!!
