Spring Break Day 1=Zoo Day!!

We decided to spend our first day of spring break with all the crazy people that go to the zoo during their busiest time of the year :)  We met our good friends, the Jackson's, super early, so we could hopefully beat some of the crowd.  It worked out perfect and we saw all the "main" animals everyone wants to see early on and left after lunchtime when the big crowds had arrived.  We love hanging out with the Jackson's!!  Beau, works with Daniel at the fire department, Amanda is also a teacher, and Braleigh is a few months younger than Briley and they are expecting a sweet baby in late September!!  Here is a collage of pictures from our day!!  PICTURE OVERLOAD of course :)

Gaylord Ice 2011

Last Wednesday we met some great friends to see the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan this year.  Daniel and I have gone twice before and even though it is a little overpriced it is still a lot of fun and will now be a Christmas tradition with the Jackson's- Beau, Amanda, and Braleigh!!  I know Daniel and Beau are so excited :) hehehe!!  Here are pictures from our fun day of seeing ICE-Shrek the Halls!!

My favorite part is always the end where they have a beautiful Nativity scene.  So pretty!!

After ICE we had to take advantage of the beautiful Gaylord hotel and got a few more pictures before lunch.

 Briley is obsessed with trains right now so we stood here a long time watching the trains go by.  She LOVED it.  I love these pictures too!!

Firefighter Family Christmas Dinner!!

Tuesday evening, Briley and I headed to the fire station to have dinner with Daniel and our firefighter family.  We are so lucky to have gained such an amazing group of friends through Daniel's job.  It really is a second family for us and we love getting together and all of the kiddos have a blast!!
