Forever love

"So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." ~Ephesians 3:17-19   I was reading in my bible tonight and came across this verse in Ephesians.  It's like a love letter isn't it?  Doesn't that just describe a perfect and forever love? My prayer tonight is that you know this love.  If your still searching for it just know He will NEVER turn His back on you.  He wants more than anything for you to know this perfect and forever love.     He has shown me this forever love so many times...
I can feel it every time I look at Daniel.
When I hear Briley tell me she loves me.
When I think of holding Hadley the night she was born.   When I look at the beautiful sonogram of our 3rd sweet girl.   I don't feel worthy of this love, but I'm SO thankful for it.  
I can't fully grasp how wide, long, high, and deep this forever love is.  But God gives us little glimpses all the time.  If your struggling with believing in His love I urge you to think about it the next time you feel pure happiness or incredible pain.     In this fallen, broken, and changing world His perfect and forever love never leaves us.   I can't think of receiving a better love letter than that on this Valentine's Day.   My glimpses of His love...

 

My heart will fully grasp this love when I am forever in His presence.

Still here!!

WOW!!  Over a month since I have last blogged.  As we all know life happens and sadly I haven't set aside time to blog.  But that is over!!  I miss blogging so much and I know I need it :)   The Bufe's are doing very well!!
In the past month we have....
-Got through the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!! -Still haven't put our living room back together after having it painted...we have nothing on our walls.  Hopefully this month I can tackle that!! -Been sick...thank goodness nothing too bad.  Just low grade fevers and colds. -Been to the doctor SEVERAL times to see our sweet baby :) -Briley had a pancakes and pj's day at preschool -Celebrated Nonnie's 2nd year in Heaven -I turned 30!! -My sweet husband and wonderful Mom threw me a 30th birthday with family and friends -Went to a children's ministry conference -Briley and Daniel had a Daddy/Daughter date to the Ft. Worth Stock Show -Went to Daniel's Fireman Banquet
And last but not least found out the SEX of our baby :)
It's a............

GIRL!!!!!
We are so excited to welcome another sweet baby girl into our family.  Daniel and I have decided that all we make is girls :)  Briley is beside herself excited with having a baby sister to love and share all her toys with.  She promised she would!!  ;)
I think we are set on name but just figuring out spelling.  I will share that soon.
We were lucky to found out fairly early what this baby was because I am going to the doctor so often.  I'm 16 weeks 2 days as of today but thankfully every time we go in I'm measuring a couple days ahead of that.  She is a growing girl!!
The next two months are very critical for our sweet girl.  Please pray that she stays put and it's God's plan for us to bring a healthy full term baby home in July.  You can also pray for my anxiety.  I'm working on it, praying through it, and leaning on friends for support, but it's still tough.

Hope in 2013...

I thought I'd make my first post of 2013 a very special one...

Thanksgiving 2012, Parade of Lights, and Polar Express Party!!

I'm giving thanks for my beautiful blessing tonight and that I am holding her now as she is sleeping in my arms.  I'm praying so hard for those families that aren't holding their babies tonight in CT.  Such a tragic world we live in filled with such hate.  We must cling to Jesus now more than ever.  I long for the day He brings us home.   With that said I have so many things to be thankful for!!  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year with both sides of our family.  For lunch we spent time with my Dad's side of the family and we had such a great time and had VERY full bellies.

Love these people so much!!  Just missing my sweet brother, Andrew.  He will be home from Boston for Christmas very soon.  Briley and I are so excited to see him!!!   After lunch we headed to Bluebonnet to visit Nonnie and Hadley with Daniel's Dad and sister.  We always go with them on Holidays to do this and I love this tradition we have started.  This time is very special to all of us...

We had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner of chicken fried steak, salad, corn, and rolls.  Just what my Mother-in-law would have cooked for us!!  
The next night we headed out with Daniel's Dad and sister to our 2nd Parade of Lights to attend.  The traffic was SO bad that we didn't have the best view of the parade but once the parade was over being at the back has its advantages...we were in the front row for the lighting of the tree in downtown :)

The following weekend we were invited to a Polar Express Christmas party to kick off December and all the kiddos Elves arriving :)

Catch up

I hate that's it has been almost a month since I last blogged.  Of course we have been busy with the holidays but that's no excuse.  I love this blog and I love that Briley will be able to read it when she gets older.  So blog slump is OVER!!  :)
Here is what I have to catch you up on... Thanksgiving 2012 Parade of Lights and Polar Express Party Daniel's Promotion Santa visits preschool   I think that will officially catch us up!!   I will end this post with a photoshoot we did in the car on Thanksgiving Day while Daddy was inside Walmart figuring out the crazy sales :)

Thanksgiving Feast

On Wednesday Daniel and I attended Briley's Thanksgiving Feast at her preschool.  She was SO excited to see us.  Her face was beaming when we walked in and it was the best feeling!!
