Joy to the World!!

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,

And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow,

Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love!!!!!

I know I am late in my post, but Merry Christmas!!!  I hope you enjoyed the collage of our wonderful week celebrating the birth of JESUS!!!!

So Blessed...

As you can see, I have not updated in a VERY LONG time!!!!  It has been very busy time here at the Bufe household during the holidays.  This post will not be very long because all I want to say is how incredibly blessed we are.  God is so good to our family...
Yes we are pregnant!!!  Of course, most of you have known for awhile.  This is our sweet little boy/girl at 12 weeks.  We are so excited to have another member of our family coming and I can't wait to see Briley as a big sister.  She is so in love with babies now and I hope it continues!!  I am due June 28, 2011.  As you can see, we have a lot to be thankful for in our home!!

I'll end this quick post with a little preview of what we have been up to for the holidays...or should I say Briley has been up to!!!
Love,
Melissa

World Series and Halloween Weekend

We had such a fun weekend!!  On Saturday, Daniel and I went with his sister and Dad to Game 3 of the World Series!!  We had such a great time and got a lot of great pictures....with our AWESOME new camera!!  We have been wanting to make this investment for a long time and we finally just decided to do it.  It was so fun taking pictures at the game and getting such good pictures of Briley yesterday for Halloween.  I am a picture taking queen and so now that we have a camera that takes awesome pictures I will probably be going a little picture happy this holiday season!!

Here are a few pictures from the game...
I love the Ballpark in Arlington...I think it is so pretty!!

Nolan Ryan throwing out the 1st pitch to Pudge

Yea!!  We won!!

We had such a great time.  Daniel kept saying it was a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to go to a World Series game...which I agree but I think the Rangers will go back another year in our lifetime!!  Hahaha!!

On Sunday, we got up for church and I decided to put Briley in her cute Halloween get up.  But first, little miss had to open her Halloween present from Gigi.
Probably would have been happy with the paper :)

Having a few "o's" before church...isn't she the cutest??

Such a ham!!

Taking a little rest before family comes over to watch me trick-or-treat!!

We had such a yummy fajita dinner with family that it took a little longer than we thought and we got outside later than I wanted to, but this is what Sassy wanted to do instead of trick-or-treat!!

We decided the wagon might be a better idea!!
We managed to make it to a few neighbors homes...though she kept trying to give the candy back or empty what was already in her bag!!

Some of our sweet family holding down the fort of the MASSIVE amount of trick-or-treaters we got!!

Our sweet pumpkin :)

She is "winking" in this picture :)

Love my sweet little girl!!

Taking a much needed milk break!!

Relaxing with Nonnie

You can see where my daughter gets her chubby cheeks...from her MOTHER.

Slide fun
She loved our cat Halloween decoration...Daniel's Nanny gave it to us and I think it's adorable.  You can put candy in the cat's head!!

Briley had Gigi wrapped around her finger!!

Love this pic of them!!

Mega (my grandmother), Gigi (my mom), and Briley Ann

Opening more Halloween goodies from Papa and Nonnie

The frame her Auntie made for her...she loved it!!  Can't wait to set it out each Halloween :)

We ended the night with a little World Series and the Rangers :)

Here is a look back and a look at this year...
Oh what a difference a year can make!!

Show us your life...kids rooms!!

One of my favorite blogs to keep up with weekly is Kelly's Korner.  She is such a wonderful Christian woman that writes about her life, including her adorable little girl, Harper.  Every Friday, she has been doing a "Show us where you live" post that has included; kitchens, living rooms, offices, etc.  I haven't had time to post each week, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on this weeks post about, nurseries/kids rooms.  These are old pictures, but not much has changed in it!!

View when you walk into her room
I love her curtains!!
Close up of her name that my friend Tracy painted...one of my favorite things!!
Her hair bow holder...there is A LOT more on there now :)
Changing table/dresser that my husband built...so thankful to have a handy husband!!
Another view
This was in my room when I was a little girl...there is a lot of little nik naks in it now.
Baby clothes are gone :( Toddler clothes have replaced :)

Beautiful armoire that my husband also built for our little girl!!

One of my favorite signs in her room.

So that is a little glimpse of our Briley's room.  I love how girly it is because it goes with her personality so well.  We are going to move the rocking chair out very soon and put a mini rocker that Daniel is building for all her baby dolls.

We also got a new piece of furniture in the mail this week that Uncle Andrew sent all the way from Boston...well really from Pottery Barn but Uncle Andrew ordered it just for his favorite niece :)  It isn't in her room but I had to share...it looks great in our living room and she LOVES it.  She looks like such a big girl sitting in it.
Hope everyone has a blessed weekend!!
