Thanksgiving Feast

On Wednesday Daniel and I attended Briley's Thanksgiving Feast at her preschool. She was SO excited to see us. Her face was beaming when we walked in and it was the best feeling!!

Daniel and I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to have these moments with our sweet 1st born. We are so thankful to God for Briley Ann!! ~Melissa

I know I promised to finish up the last few days of the grief project but I feel like it's complete. I felt like I shared what I needed to share and it felt really good to finally share Hadley's picture. :) So I thought I would just play catch up today and show you come cute pics of our girl :) This past Sunday at church was Pack the Pew...we were asked to bring friends and wear jersey's. Here is a quick picture I snapped of Briley and I before church.

I am LOVING my job by the way. I feel so blessed. I was a part of 3 children's baptism's and it was awesome. I can't tell you how grateful I feel to work for our church and watch children grow in their relationship with Christ. It's simply AMAZING. After church we went to celebrate my Grandaddy's (my Mom's Dad) birthday. I loved these pictures I caught of him and Briley!!

On Monday, Briley's preschool had a field trip to the Zoo so we had a Mommy/Daughter day. I enjoyed this time with her so much and she had a blast!!

We are also in the process of doing a lot of redecorating and the first thing was to paint our living room and kitchen. Well...I LOVED how the kitchen color turned out but I'm not thrilled with the living room. Daniel said it will grow on me. I hope so :/ I'll post pictures when we have more decor up. Right now it's a mess...more on that later!!
Tomorrow night is craft night for the women at church. I hope to make something that looks like this...

I will make sure and post the result!! A week from today I'll be in the middle of a 12 hour long marathon of Twilight movies leading up to the last one. Yes I'm REALLY excited. Not necessarily about seeing the last one but I love spending that time with my sister-in-law and cousins (we did this when the 3rd one came out)!! There is also a group of good friends that will be there too so it should be a blast :) It's the last one so we gotta go out big with the marathon!!

Halloween 2012

We had a fun and PACKED Halloween day!! We started the morning off with getting ready for preschool and Briley's costume parade. They were able to wear their costumes for the parade and Briley was so excited.

We were able to come to the parade and she was SO excited to see us. I was a little worried how she would do when we left but she walked right back into her classroom.

She was done taking pictures by Halloween night!! She was ready for trick or treating!!

She asked her Auntie to be Tinkerbell awhile back and of course her Auntie did not disappoint!!

Cousin Logan came to see us!!

Briley's favorite part was passing out candy...unless you were scary, then she wanted nothing to do with you!!

We were glad Papa and Auntie came to celebrate and we missed Gigi, Pa, and Mega. Gigi was sick :(

Experiencing a holiday through a child's eyes is SO fun!! Can't wait for Christmas this year!!

Getting ready for Halloween

I promise I will finish up the grief project after Halloween...I want to share pictures of our fun weekend and Halloween preparations instead!! Thursday we decorated and carved our pumpkins. Daniel and Briley have done this together since her first Halloween. Her and I started painting pumpkins together last year to add a new tradition :)
