Monday Day Book

Outside my window …it has finally stopped raining, but it is still cold!!  These are the kind of days/nights you curl up with your family and watch movies!!

I am thinking …that I am really missing Hadley today.  It's been 9 weeks...

I am thankful for …my family.  I had a hard day at school and coming home to Briley wanting huge hugs, saying "hi mommy" over and over again, and Daniel having dinner started was wonderful.  The two of them can always make my day brighter.

I am hoping …for so many things.  God knows what is in my heart.

On my mind ... the book Heaven is for Real.  I just finished it a couple days ago and I can't even explain to you the joy that book made me feel.  It is a must-read...go get it!!!  I'm going to do another post about it later, but I can't get that little boy and his memories from Heaven out of my mind.

Noticing that …I need to still schedule our Spring family pictures.  Daniel and I decided that we are going to share Hadley's picture in them.  We are going to put her beautiful face in a beautiful frame and let Briley hold it in a picture with all of us.  I can't wait to have a picture of all 4 of us together...it makes my heart feel so warm thinking about it.

A few plans for the week … Daniel is off most of the week so I'm looking forward to being home with him and Briley at night.  Saturday I'm going to see a new movie coming out called, Something Borrowed, with my Mom.  We read the book by Emily Giffin and we are so excited to see the movie together!!  Sunday we are celebrating Mother's Day of course!!!

From the kitchen … Daniel made Baked Ziti tonight.  It is a family favorite and I love the leftovers the next day for lunch!!

Around the house … I have a lot of things to get done before Briley's 2nd birthday party!!

One of my favorite things …when Briley asks Daniel and I for a family hug.  She will squeeze both of us so tight...it is the best feeling.

A picture I am sharing ...this is my amazing mother-in-law, Tammie.  She is holding Briley the day she was born in this picture and now is holding our sweet Hadley in Heaven today and everyday.  Tomorrow is my Mother-in-laws birthday.  This week is hard for us.  4 months since Tammie went to Heaven, 9 weeks since Hadley went to Heaven, my Mother-in-laws birthday, 1st Mother's Day without her or Hadley.  Please pray for our family this week.  I'm going to post more pictures tomorrow for her birthday, but this is one of my favorites...
 In Christ's Love,

I recently finished reading the book Heaven is for Real, too. Definitely a must read for sure. Hugs to you, my friend!
